The Sienese manufacturer from Poggibonsi began an expansion project 4 years ago which this year sees a company 6,000 sq m larger, with the warehouse and the carpentry workshop inside, which means the furniture is produced directly by Giottiline.
Low-profile, compact and over-cab motorhomes are produced at this plant, while at the Belvedere site Vans continue to be produced with a renewed assembly line.
THE MECHANICS
The current period is not an easy one: the shortage of raw materials, and consequently of available chassis, has slowed down production.
This year the Rapido group has worked long and hard to find solutions to avoid delays, signing a new agreement with Ford Transit.
The agreement with Ford covers vehicles over 7 metres and features a 2,000 cc engine with a choice of 130 hp or 170 hp, both available with automatic gearbox.
To launch this novelty, the Giottiline group has devised a complete package called “Premiere Edition Ford”, AVAILABLE ON THE Siena 390, 395 and 397 MODELS, which includes:

- Pleated cab blinds
- Kitchen sink cover
Over-cab motorhomes and Fiat low-profile models will be available only with the 2.2 engine, 140 hp and 180 hp, the latter only with automatic gearbox.
