Oktoberfest is a popular festival held in Munich, Germany, from 16 September to 3 October.
It is the most famous event hosted in the city, as well as the largest fair in the world, a celebration of German Reunification centred on beer mugs.
At the Theresienwiese area, a large funfair is set up and stands are erected serving the six historic Munich beer brands Paulaner, Spaten, Hofbräu, Hacker-Pschorr, Augustiner and Löwenbräu.
