When driving our motorhome, one of the things that often causes the most concern is a lack of stability, resulting from the various conditions we meet on the road, such as a side gust of wind, the air displacement when a heavy vehicle passes, sudden gusts of wind on motorway viaducts, etc.
This instability is made worse if any of the following conditions apply:
- an overloaded motorhome
- incorrect weight distribution
- excessive load on overhanging motorbike/bike racks
- shock absorbers worn by many kilometres
Air suspension is nothing more than simple rubber air cushions fitted on the rear axle of the vehicle which, supplementing the existing suspension system, decisively improve the stability of the vehicle.
The suspension is especially useful on vehicles with a garage, which generally have a higher centre of gravity than other vehicles and, for this reason, are often more heavily loaded. We therefore offer AL-KO type air suspension, suitable for original chassis.

Air top: the additional Air top air suspension for original chassis (base vehicles: Fiat Ducato X250/290, Peugeot Boxer and Citroën Jumper) allows the rear axle to be raised manually, with the vehicle stationary, by up to +50 mm. This makes it possible to compensate for the slope of the pitch. Roll stability is also considerably improved
