McLouis, the well-known Italian manufacturer, is widening its vehicle offer with the launch of the new 200 series, made up of 5 over-cab motorhomes and 5 low-profile motorhomes.
The series was designed for those taking their first steps in touring holidays, offering essential yet complete equipment. Well designed, with carefully considered functionality of the spaces and great attention to storage, it is built with the high-end technologies of the top of the range while keeping the price affordable. Common to the whole range is the 54 mm fibreglass construction of walls, roof and floor. This means the total absence of wood and allows a 5-year guarantee against water ingress.
For the 200 series, available only on the Ducato, we find a wide range of mechanical equipment such as manual air conditioning, dual airbags, cruise control, DAB radio preparation and the new ESC specific to motorhomes. The bodywork is not lacking in features either: an XL door with a large rectangular integrated step, a garage with double access opening to 180 degrees and a load capacity of up to 300 kg, and a double locking system for greater security. Rubber seals protect against rain, splashes and freezing.
The interior features colour contrasts in natural shades from brown to beige, with glossy laminate doors and cabinet flaps, pleated blinds and LED lighting. The kitchen has a large worktop, a 140-litre slim fridge with a bottle drawer and a separate 15-litre freezer. 2-burner hob. Sliding table for easier passage.
This year McLouis has thought of larger families, designing a motorhome with 8 berths, 6 of them approved for travel, with a double bunk bed at the rear, all in just 6.99 metres.
