NEVER WITHOUT ELECTRICITY!!
Which motorhome traveller has never run out of electricity?
As we know, the living area of the motorhome runs on electricity and all our appliances draw from the 12-volt service battery, which recharges while travelling. The alternative to batteries is to connect to the 220-volt mains (electric hook-ups at campsites or serviced areas).
Today we are proposing a solution that has become very popular in recent years: solar panels.
Solar panels are a free "green" solution that help recharge the batteries of the motorhome's living area for immediate use, or store the energy in the service battery and, on request, in the engine battery.
They are installed on the roof of the motorhome to optimise output, and several solar panels can be installed with a single controller; for example, if I install two 120W panels I will have a maximum total of 240W. Solar panels are available in various outputs starting from 100W, 120W, 150W, 170W and 190W.
THE SOLUTION FOR VANS...
The historic Milanese company Moscatelli has developed important new technical and electronic features relating to the commercial development of its products.
The company has in fact addressed the problems of those who prefer to travel in a van, which has little roof space and does not allow the installation of large solar panels.
In this regard, at this year's motorhome show they presented various solutions suitable for all campervans, up to 360W.
